Brooklyn Baptiste has been Vice-Chairman of the Nez Perce tribe for 2 years now, and has served on the Nez Perce council these 5 years. He has worked with natural resource issues for quite some time now - at one time on the Nez Perce Natural Resource sub-committee, and also previously as Chair of the Natural Resource Committee for the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians. Baptiste is from Lapwai, Idaho, attended the University of Idaho, and has two children.
