National Tribal Environmental Council

It is bittersweet to see our colleague Bob Gruenig make the transition from his post at NTEC to join Stetson Law Offices in Albuquerque. Bob has been with us for nine years, serving as a program director, interim executive director, and senior policy analyst. He has been a strong advocate for tribal environmental programs, providing insightful legal analysis on a myriad of issues, securing a place for tribes in national climate policy, and skillfully advancing tribal interests among national environmental and conservation groups, with federal agencies, and with indigenous representatives at international climate change conferences. We wish Bob the best in his new position, and have the utmost confidence that he will serve tribes most ably as an Indian law attorney. We are fortunate that Bob will have a continuing role in our work, but not as accessible due to his new position. We want to thank Bob for a job well done, and send blessings to him and his family in his new endeavor.
