NTEC Tribal Membership
Membership in the National Tribal Environmental Council is available to any federally-recognized American Indian or Alaska Native tribal government as voting members of the organization.To become a member tribe submit either a tribal resolution (optional) or executive documentation from the tribe along with an annual membership fee of $250 to become a voting member. After review and acceptance of membership, the tribe will receive notification from NTEC's Nominating and Membership Committee.
Each member tribe will designate a delegate and may designate one or more alternates, but only one will be able to vote. Designated delegates and alternates will represent their tribe and play an active role until a new successor is designated by the member tribe.Any member tribe can resign at any time by filing a Notice of Resignation with the Nominating and Membership Committee.
